An outbreak of a suspected viral infection on a CalMac ferry has disrupted sailings after crew members fell ill.

Services operated by MV Lochnevis have been cancelled so a deep clean of the vessel can be conducted.

CalMac said that sailings between Mallaig and Armadale and the Small Isles were disrupted on Tuesday "due to a number of crew being affected by a viral illness".

Wednesday's sailings departing Mallaig at 8:40am and Armadale at 9:25am have also been cancelled.
