STORAGE VAULT
Storage Vault’s locations across the country offer secure, flexible storage for personal and business needs, with sustainability-focused features like solar panels and electric charging points enhancing customer value
STORAGE Vault’s East Kilbride site has undergone significant expansion, offering enhanced storage solutions for businesses and individuals alike.
With the addition of a large number of internal units and external storage containers, the facility now boasts many secure storage options.
Designed to accommodate a wide range of needs, from small personal belongings to the contents of a four-bedroom home, the site provides safe, dry, and ventilated spaces with 24/7 keypad entry and CCTV monitoring for peace of mind.
The facility caters to diverse customers, including tradespeople seeking secure overnight equipment storage, businesses requiring additional stock or document storage, and individuals managing life transitions such as moving or renovating.
Q: HAVE there been any new features or capacities been added to your East Kilbride location following their recent expansions?
WE have expanded the number of storage units and external container storage on the site.
We’ve added many additional internal storage units that boast a wide range of sizes to suit every need, including external storage containers which would perfectly accomodate the contents of larger homes.
The addition of these units now provides the perfect amount of space for businesses and residents of East Kilbride and the surrounding area.
Colvilles is accessed via a keypad entry system at the entrance gate and is monitored 24/7 by CCTV for maximum security. It is the second Storage Vault site in East Kilbride, the other being at Peel Park. The expansion of the Colvilles site means that Storage Vault is able to help serve even more local businesses and residents with all their storage needs.
Both the internal units and storage containers provide a safe, secure and dry environment to keep your belongings, with top of the range ventilation systems.
Q: ARE there particular types of businesses or industries Storage Vault’s East Kilbride locations are designed to accommodate, and how do the facilities cater to these specific needs? Are there are specific examples you could provide?
WE see plenty of businesses use our storage facilities, such as our other site at Pell Park in East Kilbride, for a number of different uses. Our storage units are ideal for document storage, for those that are running out of space in offices, but still require to keep documentation for records.
Tradespeople like to use our storage units to store equipment, rather than keeping it in a van overnight.
Keeping equipment in a locked and secure storage unit allows peace of mind and can be accessed at any time.We see many businesses store stock in our units as well. There may be no space to keep stock in the office or at home. Storage Vault units are perfect for storing a wide range of stock.
Q: Storage Vault’s self storage facilities cater to both personal and business storage needs. Can you elaborate on how your offerings are designed to meet the diverse requirements of your customers and what sets apart from other similar companies in the market?
THERE are many different reasons people may require self storage, the top reasons at the moment include needing to create more space at home (including more space to work from home), home decorating or renovating, meaning belongings need to be stored outwith the house during this period or moving house (between properties or they don’t have enough space in their new home).
Business reasons include storing business stock or equipment or creating more space at work.
At Storage Vault Colvilles, we have a price match promise, 24 hour CCTV, extended access and a secure PIN access. We don’t tie you in to long term contracts, you only take the space for as long as you need it.
Storage Vault Colvilles have a range of clean, dry and secure unit sizes, both internal and external, meaning there is a storage space to fit your needs.
All offer 50% off for the first two months of storage.
Q: WHAT role does sustainability play in Storage Vault's developments and operations, and how has the East Kilbride expansions been designed to align with these goals?
WE use biomass boilers across many of our sites, which are a much more sustainable way to heat our self storage and industrial units.
We have completed many solar panel projects across our sites and plan on rolling out more solar panels across more sites in the near future.
We realise the importance of the environment and the role transport plays in this going forward which is why we are introducing electric charging points across many sites.
In addition to the environmental benefits, the harnessing of reusable energy is far more cost effective. With the current high energy prices, our focus on sustainability is increasingly important, providing more security for our customers’ monthly costs.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
