A free festive festival has announced its jam-packed schedule for its return to Loch Lomond next month.

The Loch Lomond Shores Christmas Festival will take place on December 7 and 8 and promises to be an exciting day out for families.

The ever-popular Frozen-themed family rollercoaster returns while there is a new giant snow globe where families can get Christmas pictures and memories.

There’s also entertainment throughout the day with local talent performing, including Scottish boy band Just the Brave on Sunday. Frozen characters, Elf on the Shelf and the Grinch will be in attendance while there will stilt walking and bubbles on the Sunday as well.

There’s also an opportunity to buy fresh produce as well as stores stocked with gifts to do the last of your Christmas shopping if you need to.

The Jurassic Ice Venue will also be open for families who want a break and the opportunity to do some crafts while Jurassic Grill will remain open to get some food, and you could even get dinner with the Grinch on the Saturday night.

Santa will also be in attendance at SEA LIFE but that needs to be booked and there’s plenty more going on throughout the weekend too.

Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores commented on the festival: “It’s definitely our favourite festival of the year as we get to enjoy bringing a bit of Christmas magic to all our festival goers and watch children have an amazing time.”

The festival runs from 10am to 5pm each day on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December and is free to visit.
