Nine Scottish restaurants have been included in a new global ranking of the world’s 1000 best restaurants.

The coveted ranking, produced by La Liste, is based on the compilation of thousands of publications, hundreds of guidebooks, and millions of online reviews.

Restaurants in the list can have a maximum score of 100.

The top-rated Scottish restaurant in the list, with a score of 92, is The Glenturret Lalique restaurant. Located within The Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, the intimate restaurant was awarded its second Michelin star back in February.
