An airline and holiday company has announced two new destinations from a Scottish airport.

It includes a sunshine island summer holiday destination and a historic capital city with a medieval old town.

Jet 2 and Jet2 Holidays has said Leros will be accessible via Kos Airport which customers can fly to from nine UK bases from next summer including one in Scotland, Edinburgh.

Jet2 said: “Part of the Dodecanese islands, Leros is known for its crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and peaceful atmosphere, making it the ultimate pick for a relaxing, go-slow summer holiday.”

The firm said customers booking with Jet2holidays to Leros have ferry and shuttle transfers included.

The firm also said: “In response to the increasing number of customers looking to enjoy the magic of Europe’s Christmas Markets, Jet2CityBreaks is launching Tallinn as a brand-new Christmas Market destination for Winter 25/26, with city breaks available Edinburgh.

“Jet2CityBreaks will operate two weekly trips from each airport from late November until the week before Christmas, perfectly timed for the festive season. Each of the routes are exclusive to Jet2.”
