Three floors of ‘top class’ office space has been launched in one of Glasgow city centre’s “most recognisable’ buildings.

The Boutique Workplace Company has formally opened the serviced space at 9 George Square, and signalled demand for the fully-refurbished space has been high. The firm noted that 9 George Square, with its “grand, listed façade” is now home to “best-in-class” offices, following refurbishment work carried out since it began occupying the three floors in May. Several of the offices look over George Square.

Facilities offered by the new space include meeting rooms, breakout spaces, showers, kitchens, and cycle storage.

The DDA (disability discrimination act) compliant and with 24-hour access, the offices also benefit from reception services and discounted car parking.

Fiona Uhe, commercial manager for boutique at 9 George Square, said: “Today’s launch celebrates our new ownership of this highly-desirable Glasgow address, offering top-class serviced space for Glasgow City Centre.

“9 George Square is as central as it is possible to be, with fantastic views across the city’s iconic Square, and sitting less than a minute’s walk from Queen Street train station. Demand has been high, and we already have a fantastic community of tenants, which illustrates the requirement in the city for fully-serviced space where businesses can relocate to fully-fitted space with no unpredictable costs.

“Our space is connected, vibrant and different, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new members to our community soon.”
