The Royal Navy’s HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier has arrived in Scotland for resupply.

The 65,000-tonne vessel berthed at Glen Mallan on Loch Long in Argyll and Bute on Friday, ahead of ammunitioning, trials, and defence-related activities.

The warship is due to take on supplies from the Glen Douglas munitions depot, which underwent a £69 million upgrade in 2021.
