Accountancy firm KPMG has unveiled a new leadership team in Scotland.

The team has been unveiled by Vishal Chopra, now officially responsible for leading KPMG in Scotland after taking over as office senior partner from James Kergon.

Mr Chopra oversees a team of more than 900 people across KPMG’s offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. He most recently led KPMG’s Scottish tax team. KPMG said, as part of Mr Chopra’s changes to the Scottish leadership team, Susan Dunlop would head the transaction services business, with Graeme Williams promoted to managing director and leading the corporate finance team. It added: “Both are experienced leaders with a strong track record of supporting local businesses on mergers and acquisitions.”

KPMG revealed that, under Mr Chopra’s changes, “skilled research and development partner” Sandra Gilchrist has taken on a role leading the Scottish tax team.

And Kelly Dunn has transferred to Scotland to lead the private business audit offering in Scotland.

KPMG added that Ms Gilchrist and Ms Dunn both bring “a wealth of experience across a range of sectors”.
