Aldi is set to open a brand-new store in Scotland later this month.

The new Aldi store in Straiton will open its doors on Thursday November 28, bringing 20 jobs to the local area.

The retailer said that the new store, on Pentland Road in Loanhead, "will offer more customers access to Aldi’s high quality, low-price products".

The new store will offer fresh, Scottish meat products with weekly offers, Aldi’s award-winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, exclusive Beers, Wines and Spirits, and a ‘Food to Go’ section at the front of the store.

Aldi’s Specialbuys will also be available in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday, offering value on a wide range of products, from electrical items to garden tools.
