Plans have been submitted for the next phase of a sustainable neighbourhood in Glasgow.
Bigg Regeneration (a JV between purpose-led B Corp developer, igloo, and Scottish Canals) has submitted the next phase of plans for Dundashill, a 600-home new community in the heart of the Port Dundas area of the city.
Previous phases at Dundashill included 90 Passivhaus flats by the West of Scotland Housing Association, and 78 town houses, all rated EPC ‘A’, built by igloo.
The third phase completes the ‘top of the hill’ part of the Dundashill masterplan, with homes set to look over the city and canal below.
The next phase of 88 homes, with a mix of 1- and 2- bed apartments, 2- and 3- bed duplex lofts and 3- and 4- bedroom townhouses, with roof terraces overlooking the city, have been designed with people, place and planet in mind by Stallan Brand and HAUS Collective.

The homes will be low energy, benefitting from enhanced insulation and air tightness, with air source heat pumps and plug-and-play EV charging as standard.
Construction will again be delivered by CCG, with a focus on a low upfront carbon supply chain, with locally manufactured timber frames, windows, doors and concrete bricks, which use reclaimed materials.
The first buyers at Dundashill moved into the Maltings Wynd phase of the development earlier in 2024.
