Budget airline easyJet has launched a new year-round route from a Scottish airport.

The new twice-weekly service from Glasgow to Prague in Czech Republic began on Thursday and will operate every Thursday and Sunday throughout the year.

Speaking on Thursday, Mark Beveridge, Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, said: “Today marks an exciting milestone for Glasgow Airport as we celebrate the inaugural flight to Prague with our valued airline partner, easyJet.

 “This new route not only strengthens our connectivity with one of Europe’s most enchanting cities but also opens up fantastic opportunities for both leisure and business travellers.
