Work has started on dozens of new homes at a major regeneration site.
The homes will incorporate energy-efficient technologies such as solar panels and air-source heat pumps.
The fourth and final phase of Cruden Homes' highly acclaimed King’s View development in Toryglen is now under way.
The King’s View development is situated near King’s Park and Scotland’s national stadium, Hampden Park, and about two miles from Glasgow city centre.
Previous phases have seen "huge levels of demand from commuters, growing families, downsizers and first time buyers".

Located adjacent to one of Glasgow’s Transformational Regeneration Areas, Clyde Gateway, this phase will deliver 56 high-quality homes, further supporting the area's large-scale regeneration efforts.
The new homes, situated on Prospecthill Road, follow several highly successful phases of Cruden’s award-winning development in the area. The phase will offer a range of two and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached houses, each with a private garden.
The wider area boasts exceptional green spaces and top-tier facilities that enhance the lives of local residents. This includes the Malls Mire Community Woodland, a nature reserve with direct access from the development. Homeowners will also have a wide range of amenities on their doorstep, such as public parks, play areas, shops, a supermarket, schools and nurseries, a health centre, and transport links to Glasgow city centre.
Hazel Davies, of Cruden Homes, said: “King’s View is a vibrant and growing development with so many first-class amenities to choose from, making it the perfect setting for new homeowners. Our latest phase of homes presents a fantastic opportunity for those looking to join a growing, inclusive community, surrounded by ample green space and first-class local services.
“Cruden Homes has already delivered three very successful phases of private homes at King’s View, creating a thriving community for families, downsizers, and individuals of all ages. The feedback from homebuyers has been incredible, with previous phases selling out far ahead of schedule. As this will be the fourth and final phase available, I would encourage prospective buyers to register their interest well ahead of the anticipated sales launch in Spring to avoid missing out on their dream home at this award-winning development.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
