A global sports brand’s flagship store in a Scottish city has been put on the market for sale.

The property has Nike contracted as tenant until 2034, with the sports giant currently undertaking a major refurbishment of the store, which is expected to reopen next month.

The store has been at the prime location on Buchanan Street in Glasgow for 13 years, and is undergoing works by Graham including the reconfiguration of the 2,500-square-metre layout.

The tenant is currently undertaking a substantial refit of the store.”

It said the property is situated in a “100 per cent prime position in the central section of Buchanan Street”, adding: “Retailers in the immediate vicinity include Zara, Mango, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss, Michel Kors, Levis and Molton Brown. To the north lies Buchanan Galleries, and both Central Station and Queen Street Stations are within a five minute walk. St Enoch Centre lies a short distance to the south.
