The ‘Godfather of Punk’ Iggy Pop will return to Glasgow with a gig at the O2 Academy in June next year.
The Stooges frontman will take to the stage in the city on Tuesday, June 3 2025 and will be joined by special guests who are still to be announced.
The 77-year-old has been performing for more than 60 years and tickets for the gig will go on sale on Friday, November 8 at 9pm, with pre-sale the day before at the same time.
The American is due to tour Europe next summer, starting with a gig in Derbyshire in May before coming to Glasgow in June.

Further dates in Austria and the Czech Republic are also on the list while he’s currently touring in America and Mexico.
He’s the second big act to be announced for Glasgow today, with Simple Minds being announced for Glasgow Summer Sessions in June next year, while Sting, Kylie Minogue and Stereophonics are among others who will perform in the city in 2025.
