Two men have been jailed after being caught with £10,000 worth of drugs in Aberdeen.

Jahvid Frith, 28, and Tyrone Sealey were arrested in February 2023 when police recovered cocaine, heroin and cannabis from a flat in Marischal Court, as well as £2,000 in cash, multiple mobile phones and other items used to co-ordinate drug supply.

The drug operation was a County Lines one between Aberdeen and England, meaning gangs and organised criminal networks involved in exporting illegal drugs into one or more importing areas, using dedicated mobile phone lines or other form of “deal line”.

Frith was sentenced to three years and four months and Sealey five years and three months at the High Court in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 30 October, 2024.

Detective Sergeant Christopher Wilson said: “Drugs cause immense damage to our communities, and today’s sentencing underlines Police Scotland’s continuing commitment to the Serious organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“This case sends a clear message that County Lines operations will not be tolerated, and we will pursue those who seek to profit from illegal activities.

“If you have any concerns about drugs in your area, please contact Police Scotland on 101 or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
