Fire crews have extinguished a blaze that broke out in a building in Leven.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said crews were called to an address in North Street at 7.27pm on Tuesday.

Two fire engines and a height appliance were dispatched to the scene, which SFRS said was a building undergoing renovation.

They left at 9pm, having extinguished the fire.

SFRS said there were no casualties.

A spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a fire in building in North Street in Leven.

“We mobilised two appliances and a height appliance to the address.

“There was a fire in the building that we extinguished.

“We got the call at 7.27pm and we left the scene at 9pm.”
