Two new trainees, Katie Hindle and Yusuf Qureshi, have joined Shoosmiths in Scotland.

The firm also flagged its recruitment of three paralegals in Scotland, and the addition of four junior roles in its real estate team north of the Border.

Janette Speed, head of Shoosmiths Scotland, said: “These appointments, across our real estate, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation departments in Edinburgh and Glasgow, highlight both the continued demand for our sector-specific expertise and Shoosmiths’ commitment to invest in and nurture young legal talent.

"I am delighted that several colleagues have successfully made the transition from legal trainee to fully qualified lawyer with us in Scotland.  Organic growth is important to us in this jurisdiction and I’m confident that they will all make an impact as we deliver on the next phase of our strategy.”
