A popular Scottish football pub has been put on the market for sale or lease.

The move this week comes a year after the family who operated the bar for more than 20 years stepped down, and follows a refurbishment which took place this year.

The Scottish Business Agency said the Tavern Bar on Tollcross Road in Parkhead, Glasgow, offers “a real opportunity for either development of the public house under a new owner or experienced tenant operator”.
