St Cuthbert’s Church Hall in Lockerbie, which auctioneer Acuitus noted is “situated in an established commercial and residential location”, comprises a former funeral parlour on the ground floor with a single-storey garage to the rear.

The Acuitus auction will take place on November 7 at 1pm. It will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.

Acuitus says on its website: “The property may lend itself to residential conversion, alternative uses and/ or redevelopment, subject to obtaining all the necessary consents. All enquiries should be made with Dumfries and Galloway Council.”
