Some of the UK’s most exciting culinary talents are set to take part in a guest chef series launching at an award-winning Edinburgh restaurant this month.

Celebrating the one-year anniversary of Lyla, Scottish chef Stuart Ralston will next week launch the first of the Shore to Shore events at his restaurant on Royal Terrace.

In an ode to the rich bounty of our seas, guest chefs will take part in a four-hands dinner at Lyla, bringing their own take on seafood from Scotland and the wider UK coastline.

Guests will then be invited into the main dining room, where the rest of the menu will be served with four courses from the night’s chef.

Accompanying the menu will be an optional drinks pairing by Lyla’s award-winning head sommelier, Stuart Skea, featuring a collection of small-domain wines and sake, to celebrate new-age, old-world alongside a selection of UK-based producers.
