The body of a man has been recovered from the River Clyde.
Around 12.10pm on Monday, police recovered the body from the river at Crossford in Lanarkshire.

Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of David Simpson, reported missing from Lanark on Sunday, September 8, has been informed.
