Police have made a second arrest in connection with the death of a 38-year-old man in South Lanarkshire at the weekend.

David Graham was taken to hospital after allegedly being attacked as he walked in General’s Gate in Uddingston at around 7.35pm on Sunday, October 6.

Mr Graham – who is from Cambuslang – as pronounced dead on arrival at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

Earlier this week, a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death.

Police have now confirmed they have arrested a second man, aged 41, as investigations continue.
