A global provider of "immersive entertainment experiences" is to launch a new escape rooms venue and outdoor city hunt game.
The company, which has 50 locations around the world, is to launch the "highly anticipated five-star escape rooms and outdoor experiences" later this month.
Escape Hunt Glasgow has officially opened bookings as it prepares to open its doors on October 25.
The new venue will be in the Saint Enoch shopping centre and will be the firm’s second venue in Scotland, with one in Edinburgh.
The firm said: “Guests will be transported to exciting new worlds as they take on immersive five-star escape rooms, where they can capture the magical lamp in Aladdin and The Magic Vault, return a stolen amulet in Curse of the Pharaoh and draw the sword from the stone in Excalibur.
"Thrilling outdoor adventures will also be available including the brand-new City Hunt game Vampire Hunters, as well as Time Cops and Return to Wonderland. Glasgow’s most exciting new attraction will also offer unique party packages that cater for birthdays, hen, stag, corporate events and Christmas parties."
Richard Harpham, Escape Hunt chief executive, said he was enthusiastic about the new location, adding: "We’re thrilled to be opening our second venue in Scotland and bringing the magic of our immersive entertainment to the people in Glasgow. We can’t wait to welcome guests through our doors for their next adventure."
Accountancy firm prepares to move hundreds of staff in Scottish city

PricewaterhouseCoopers said its 488 people based in Glasgow will move from the current office at 141 Bothwell Street to the Aurora building - on the same street – next year.
It declared that the Aurora building, which has undergone refurbishment, is “one of Glasgow’s most sustainable offices, thanks to the retention of the facade and structure as part of the refurbishment process”.
PwC said the office move “signals continued investment in Scotland”- following the 2023 refurbishment of its Edinburgh office - and “underscores the UK firm’s regional presence”.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
