Music legend Sting will bring his world tour to Glasgow in 2025 after announcing he will perform at Bellahouston Park.

The former Police frontman will headline the city’s Summer Sessions event as part of his world tour.

It will be the 17-time Grammy Award winning artist’s only gig in Scotland as part of his tour, which will also see him perform in England, Wales and at the Isle of Wight festival over the space of six weeks.

The Sting 3.0 World Tour started in Europe this summer and is currently entering its North America leg but he will be in the UK next year to take on this part of it.

The 72-year-old will arrive in the UK and play at the Westonbirt Arboterum in Tetbury on Wednesday, June 18 before heading to the Isle of Wight festival.

Liverpool is next on the list before he arrives in Glasgow on Wednesday, June 25 to play at Bellahouston Park as part of summer sessions.
