An award-winning restaurant in a “popular and bustling market town” has been put on the market.
The restaurant represents an “extremely desirable opportunity to acquire a thriving, profitable business”.
Cornerstone Business Agents said the premises in Crieff, 17 miles west of Perth, comprise a large, bright dining room with bar and deli counter.
“The property enjoys a tremendous location being close to the main A85 thoroughfare with parking available nearby at both James Square and in the King Street car-park which is positioned directly across the road from the premises,” the agent said.
“The sellers have successfully operated their restaurant business from the premises for over 18 years, gathering many loyal customers, glowing reviews and industry awards along the way.
“Now, after changes in personal circumstances, the owner has reluctantly decided to sell the business in order to pursue other plans abroad.
“The sale offers an extremely desirable opportunity to acquire a thriving, profitable business with a highly experienced team on a truly turnkey freehold basis. Owner’s accommodation is also available separately.”
The agent said offers in excess of £475,000 are invited. The sale includes the property, fixtures, fittings, furniture, equipment and business including goodwill. The trading name Delivino is not included because of “the ongoing nature of other trading ventures sharing the same name”.
Shortlist revealed for Scotland’s building of the year
Glasgow’s iconic Burrell Collection museum and a housing scheme in the city are among the projects in the running to be named Scotland’s building of the year.
Five projects have been shortlisted for the award, bestowed annually by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
The skillful re-use of existing buildings is a noticeable theme running through the 2024 shortlist, which recognised major retrofits of the Burrell and another leading Scottish cultural institution - The Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh.
Tech company nears £6bn target
A Scottish insurance technology company founded by two former Aviva executives has said it is on target to hit the £6 billion mark in written premiums as it approaches its sixth anniversary.
Broker Insights, which employs more than 60 people at its offices in Dundee, said brokers have to date uploaded £5.5bn of gross written premiums to its Vision Enterprise platform. This company expects to reach £6bn by the end of this year.
Backed by Chroma Ventures, the investment vehicle of gaming entrepreneurs Chris van der Kuyl and Paddy Burns, Broker Insights uses market data and analytics to connect major insurers with regional brokers in the commercial insurance sector. The platform is also licensed out to national and global brokers who tailor Vision Enterprise to their needs.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
