Scotland’s largest fireworks event is set to welcome more than 15,000 visitors when it is held in November at the Royal Highland Centre and Showground.

Fawkes Festival will be held on Sunday, November 3 and says it will offer a ‘safer’ Guy Fawkes alternative to individual family shows.

The festival will be held at the site on the outskirts of Edinburgh at Ingliston and promises a ‘feel-good’ evening for the whole family to enjoy with a spectacular fireworks event that will be ‘unique’ and ‘immersive’.

There will also be a performance from The Red Hot Chilli Pipers as well as street theatre and LED drummers group Spark!.

The event will also boast a programme of fairground rides, food and drink, a bonfire and much more as part of it and Geoff Crow, director of organisers GC Live, expects it to be a perfect way to celebrate Guy Fawkes night.

He said: “We are thrilled to bring Scotland’s Red Hot Fawkes Festival to the Royal Highland Centre this year and look forward to welcoming over 15,000 visitors for an evening filled with delicious food and drinks, breathtaking performances and a spectacular fireworks display.
