A 17th century country house in Perthshire which traded as a hotel for several decades has been put back on the market at a reduced price.
The East Haugh House near Pitlochry is now being marketed by agents Graham + Sibbald and Rettie & Co at offers over £875,000.
The property offers seven bedrooms and a range of “attractive” public rooms, as well as separate four to five bedroom annexe and separate three-bedroom cottage, set amid two acres of private grounds.

It was previously launched by the agents for sale at offers over £1.15m.
Alistair Letham, a hotel and leisure Consultant with Graham + Sibbald, said the property could “easily” be run as a hotel again.
“The East Haugh House previously operated as a quality, destination, country house hotel some three-plus years ago,” he said. “The property since has been used for exclusive occupation and therefore could easily revert to full hotel use, if new owners preferred.”
The East Haugh House had been run by as a hotel by husband and wife Lesley and Neil McGown for 33 years before they sold the property in October 2021. During their tenure, the hotel built a strong following at home and abroad for its cuisine and outdoor pursuits, namely hunting and fishing. The property was built more than 350 years ago as part of the Atholl Estate.

The agents said it benefits from close links to the A9 and a location at the “heart of Scotland”.
“Pitlochry is one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places to visit, welcoming tourist trade year-round, to the wide variety of interests in the locality; whether outdoor sporting activities, the many visitor attractions or just absorbing the aesthetic beauty of the surrounding Perthshire countryside,” they noted.
