The death is not believed to be suspicious
A body has been found in a search for a missing woman in Aberdeenshire.
Police said officers were made aware the body of a woman had been found in a field near to Kintore, Inverurie, at around 4.25pm on Thursday.
Formal identification has still to take place, however the family of 82-year-old Alice Mitchell, who was reported missing from Aberdeen, have been made aware.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, the force added.
