Emergency services are on the scene of a crash on the M8 (westbound) involving an overturned lorry that has forced part of the road to close.

The incident took place shortly after 9am on Tuesday morning at Hermiston Gait and the road needed to be closed to allow recovery of the vehicle.

Diversions are in place via the A8 but it could lead to a build-up in traffic in the area until the road reopens.
