A Scottish law firm has unveiled its intake of seven new trainees for 2024.

Blackadders LLP noted the 2024 cohort, who join its training programme this week, will work across all units in the firm’s offices in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow as part of a two-year schedule.

The new trainees are Amy Richardson, Ben Harvey, David Kaye, Kirsty Martin, Mark Hanzely, Megan Allan, and Reece Jamieson.

Emma Gray, joint managing partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new trainees. Every year we are hugely impressed by the talent of the young people entering the profession.”

The firm said: “Blackadders’ trainees are given a wide range of experience to build the perfect foundation for a successful legal career. They each go through four seat rotations over two years and experience first-hand what it is like to work for a full-service national law firm.

“The six-month placements in different areas of the firm are designed to give the trainees an opportunity to experience different sectors of the law and help them to decide which areas they would ultimately like to specialise in on completion of their traineeship.”
