A Scottish garden centre is changing hands.

Caulders Garden Centres has revealed it is set to purchase Forth Valley Garden Centre in Linlithgow, which it notes is “better known as Rouken Glen, Linlithgow”, from the Sheikh family.

"The Sheikh brothers will continue to focus on their main site, Rouken Glen Garden Centre in Glasgow, which is unaffected by the sale," Caulders noted.

Caulders already has nine centres across Scotland.

Colin Barrie, managing director of Caulders, said: “I have been friends with Aslam and his brother for many years, and I am delighted that they have given Caulders the opportunity to take over and grow such an excellent business. We look forward to working with the team at Linlithgow and to developing our offering there”.

Caulders noted the sale is expected to be completed in late September or early October.
