A Scottish village hotel, which can trace its origins back to a drovers’ inn in the 1700s, has been put up for sale, with offers around £3.25 million sought.

It is described as being in a “beautifully remote and yet very accessible” location.

Graham + Sibbald, which has been appointed to sell the Dunalastair Hotel Suites at The Square in Kinloch Rannoch in Highland Perthshire, declared that “extensive monies have been lavished on the property”.

Graham + Sibbald said: “With its origins as a drovers’ inn in the 1700s, the current incarnation of Dunalastair Hotel dates from the late Victorian period - and more recently extensive monies have been lavished on the property to create the quality, five-star style Dunalastair Hotel Suites in this stunning Highland Perthshire village.”
