New drone footage of a Scottish distillery shows the progress made as it edges towards completion.

The distillery said the operator “captured the essence of the dream” as it told how the distinctive design was chosen.

Martin McAdam, chief executive of Ardgowan Distillery, said that “a pivotal moment” in the journey was welcoming Austrian lead investor Roland Grain to the £20 million project.

“As I often say, it's great when an investor brings more than just money,” said Mr McAdam. “Roland did exactly that – he introduced an inspired vision of infusing Austrian design aesthetics to the project.
