Thousands of Oasis fans have been left disappointed with nearly no hope of securing tickets, due to malfunctions with the Ticketmaster websites.

Users were left unable to load the website after the platform went down.

According to DownDetector, issues started at around 7am with users complaining that they couldn’t get the app or website to load.

Some users have also been logged out of the website all together. Ticketmaster suspended accounts for mistaking fans for bots (a software application that runs automated tasks on the Internet).

The message stated: " Your session has been suspended.

"Something about your browsing behaviour or network made us think you were a bot."

One person posted a screenshot of the issue on X, formerly known as Twitter.

They said: "Nope TicketmasterUK. I’m not an international criminal - just dad trying to get Oasis tickets for his daughter."

Another person got to the final stage of the ticket process, where they could choose their ticket numbers and seats, before being logged out by the website at the point purchase.

They said: "Ticketmaster  kicked me right at the final hurdle then accused me being a BOT."

Another posted: "Tell me how I was 1859 in the queue, get on to buy, ticket master thinks I’m a bot, and I get put to the back of the queue?!?!"

The issues first started two hours before the Oasis general sale in the UK but one hour before Dublin's tickets went on sale at 8am.

Problems were recorded by Ticketmaster users across the UK on DownDetector including in Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Glasgow.

Of the problems reported, 65% relate to the website while 29% of reported problems were related to the app.

A further 6% of problems were linked to ticketing.

In response to people being suspended on suspicion of being a bot, staff at the ticket-selling website replied saying: “Please make sure you are only using one tab, clear your cookies, and ensure you aren’t using any VPN software on your device.”
