Drugs, cash, and stolen motorbikes were recovered by Police in Scotland over the weekend as two arrests were made.

Officers investigating the theft of a motorbike uncovered further suspected stolen bikes on a farm in Aberdeenshire.

On Friday 16 August, a black coloured Triumph Street Triple motorbike was reported stolen from Morrison Street, Edinburgh.

The following day, on Saturday, 17 August, officers were able to trace the bike, by following a tracker, to a farm near to Blairs, Aberdeen.

Six other motorbikes, a quantity of drugs and nearly £10,000 in cash was also discovered.

Two men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested and charged with drugs offences. They were due to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 19 August, 2024. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Sergeant Steven Young said: “These types of crimes are not victimless. Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to removing them from our communities.
