A number of properties in Blairgowrie have been evacuated due a gas leak.
Police and emergency services are currently at the scene in the Terminus Street area of the town.
A number of roads have also been closed to traffic.
The incident was reported around 2pm on Wednesday.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area at present.

A statement issued by gas distribution company SGN read: "Our engineers are on site dealing with third party damage to our gas main in Terminus Street, Blairgowrie.
"To allow specialist repairs to be carried out and to ensure everyone’s safety, Gas Brae, Commercial Street and a section of Back Brae have been closed
"The nearby Tesco Superstore and petrol station have been evacuated and closed as a precaution for safety reasons.
"At the moment, it’s too early to say when the surrounding roads will re-open."
