Five people have been taken to hospital after a bus crashed into a block of flats in Paisley.
Police and emergency services were alerted to the scene at Hamilton Court, Calside, around 12:20pm on Wednesday.
Photos from the scene showed a single-decker McGill's bus wedged against the wall at the foot of a block of flats.
Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Police confirmed that five people were taken to hospital for treatment, with enquiries ongoing.

A number of road closures are in place including Calside Avenue, Polsons Crescent, Craw Road and Alexandra Gate. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.25pm to attend an incident in Calside, Paisley.
"A range of resources including ambulances, special operations response teams, a trauma team and a critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene.
"Three patients were transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
A spokesperson for McGill’s Buses said: “At approximately 12.25pm today, one of one vehicles crashed into a block of flats in Calside, Paisley.
“Five people, one of whom was the driver, were taken to hospital by ambulance crews and our immediate thoughts and concerns are with them at this time.
“At this stage it is too early to know what caused the accident but McGill’s personnel have been in attendance and are working with police on the post-incident investigation and will continue to do so in the days ahead.”
The incident marks the second time that a vehicle has crashed into the high-rise building in recent years. In August of 2022, an Audi vehicle veered off the road and crashed through the block of flats.
Two people who were in the car were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment. Police later arrested and charged the 26-year-old driver in connection with road traffic offences.
