Scotland have a pivotal game in front of them on Saturday which could throw the Six Nations wide open.

Should the home side clinch victory, it means the top five teams in the competition will all have lost one game each ahead of the remaining Round 3 games.

Scotland’s head coach Gregor Townsend has challenged his team to seize the chance to remain in the hunt for the Six Nations title by beating in-form France at BT Murrayfield.

He said: “We know it’s our last opportunity.

“We believe in our team but it is our last chance to be in the race for a trophy at the end of the season.

"We believe in our group so we have to put everything into this at the weekend and deliver what we’re capable of delivering.”
