Everything in one bowl and that’s it – simply done. These granola bars are great for breakfast, a quick snack or for lunchboxes.

Ingredients:

100g Unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing

200g Porridge oats

100g Sunflower seeds

25g Pumpkin seeds

50g Sesame seeds

50g Hazelnuts - chopped

3 tbsp. honey

80g light brown sugar

100g dried mixed fruit of your own choice

Method

Pre heat oven to gas mark 3/170c/fan 150c

Butter and line the base of a 25cm x 18cm tray. Mix the oats, seeds and nuts in a roasting tray, then place in the oven for 8 minutes to toast.

Next warm the butter, honey and sugar in a pan, stirring until butter is melted. Add the oat mix, and dried fruit, then mix until all the oats are well coated. Tip into the tin, press down lightly, then bake for 30 mins. Cool in tray, then cut into 12 - 15 bars. It’s really that simple.
