More stormy weather is expected to hit Scotland in the next few days with a weather warning now in place.

Gusts potentially reaching over 90mph have been forecast across the north and western parts of Scotland.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind from 9pm on Sunday to 12pm on Monday.

It follows recent weather disruption caused by Storms Arwen and Barra in the last couple of weeks.

The Met Office has warned that there is a risk of injuries and danger to life from flying debris.

Travel could be interrupted, particularly ferry services, and roads and bridges closed.

Power cuts may also occur.

Network Rail is expecting services on West Highland Line and the Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh line to be affected.

They have prepared for their helicopter to patrol these routes to spot any potential problems following Storms Arwen and Barra.
