The A82 is closed in both directions between Fort William and Corran due to a "serious" road traffic accident.
The two vehicle crash happened at around 3pm and it's been reported that a medical helicopter is on route to the scene.
Corran Ferry is experiencing huge volumes of traffic in the area and as a result they've warned those planning to use the ferry to expect long delays.
Police are urging drivers to avoid the area with major diversions in place.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Saturday, 17 July, we received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A82 between Fort William and Ballachulish Bridge.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed in both directions.”
