Amazon announced that their Prime Day had been postponed earlier this year, but now details have emerged of the fifth Prime Day. 

The event, which is exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers will see offers span over the course of two days this month with offers also on Amazon Prime Video, Music and Reading.

Amazon Prime day is available for subscribers, however, if you have not joined Prime you could take out a free 30-day trial ahead of the event, which can be cancelled at any time.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day will place in the 48 hours between 13 October, from one minute after midnight to 11.59 pm on 14 October.

What can you buy on Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day has moved on from being only about electronics. However, many of the best deals come on Amazon's own products such as Fire TV sticks and Alexa Voice Remotes, Fire tablets and Kindles.

Is Prime Day only on Amazon?

While Amazon started the day, others have been quick to compete with the many offering discounts at the same time. Currys’ have previously held their Black Tag event while John Lewis, Debenhams, eBay and Feel Unique have also offered competitive deals.
