A Glasgow personal trainer is urging Scots to take advantage of staying at home to improve their mental health through exercise.
Dayna Bone admitted that life under lockdown had begun to take its toll on her mental wellbeing, but when she realised her clients were feeling the same, she tried to help in the best way she knew how.
"I went from working so many hours each week to not working at all," she explained. "I struggled to cope slowing down.
"But then I was getting messages from clients and others who were also struggling, and I just thought I had to pull myself together and start helping."
She says that on days that feel particularly bad, exercising makes her feel ten times better and clears her head to allow her to think through her problems.
It is part of the reason Dayna became a personal trainer, to help other people overcome the obstacles that she has faced herself.
She began to make at-home workout plans for her followers on Instagram and Facebook, to help them beat the lockdown blues and stay in shape.
And she took it one step further by providing live classes that they could work along to.
"Just being on the live classes with clients helped me," she said. I suddenly had a boost for my day, and the feedback from my social videos just made me want to do more.
"It gave me a purpose to get up. Taking care of other people helped me."
While her usual clients tuned in to her regular videos, Dayna was taken aback her favourite gym wear brand asked her to take her workouts to the next level.
"Gymshark got in touch after I sent them one of my workout plans," she explained. "They said they loved it, and wanted me to live-stream it to their followers'.
"I felt quite honoured, and obviously very nervous. They're a global company and my favourite brand, so I wanted to do it right."
To keep a healthy mind, Dayna recommends trying to complete 10,000 steps a day or perhaps working out for just 20 minutes.

Snacking at home is common, especially when we have nowhere else to go, however, she says if you keep daily food intake to 80% good nutritional value, it will help both physically and mentally.
