Firefighters rescue two people from burning flat in Edinburgh
Two people have been rescued from a burning flat in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Ferry Road home at 9.06am on Saturday.
A total of 16 firefighters tackled the blaze at the ground floor property, with three appliances and a height unit vehicle.
Two people inside were rescued and taken to hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
