A SOCIAL services worker is set to face a fitness to practice panel over claims he gave a teenage girl a Bible containing an ‘inappropriate’ message.

Jonathan Wright is said to have attached a note saying he would pray for the 16 year old as she was due to leave his car.

It read that if she was ever lonely and the world too cold, hurting and had nobody, to read the Bible and “think of me and you will remember that I love you, because Jesus loves you.”

It earlier said she had a ‘beautiful face.’ Charges against Mr Wright, to be heard by the Scottish Social Services Council in Dundee next week allege that this amounted to an inappropriate personal message.

Mr Wright was working for Inspire Scotland at the time of last year’s alleged incident.
