A KILLER has been criticised by a judge for wishing her luck in getting him back into court to be sentenced.

Robert Letham's comments came after he was found guilty by a jury at the High Court in Glasgow of stabbing to death Steven Russell, 20, in the city's Possilpark.

The 32-year was told by judge, Lady Rae, that she wanted to consider the minimum jail term before the court returns today.

Letham, who has past convictions involving knives, responded: “It won’t make a difference. Good luck getting me here.”

Lady Rae then said: “Is that a threat? This is not helping you, Mr Letham.”
