An area in East Kilbride has been cordoned off as police investigate an “unexplained death”.
At 2.30am this morning a 24-year-old man was found injured on Lochranza Drive near Lindsayfield Road.
A police spokeswoman said: “Emergency services attended but the man died a short time later.
“A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are treating as unexplained in the meantime.
“A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
