Krispy Kreme’s new branch in Glasgow Central opened its doors on Thursday morning.

It is the fourth store that the American doughnut retailer has opened in the city, following the unveil of their stall in Silverburn shopping centre last week.

Ross Diamond, 17, from Crookston queued from 10pm on Wednesday night to win the coveted Krispy Kreme Gold Card which will entitle him to a free double dozen of doughnuts every month for a year.

The first six people in line also received an exclusive goody bag.

Krispy Kreme can also be found at Braehead and Buchanan Galleries.
