A 28-year-old man has been arrested over the death of a Duncan Banks, whose body was found in Dunfermline more than four months ago.
Mr Banks, 39, was found dead at a property in the Fife town's Skye Road in September.
Police Scotland said on Wednesday: "A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of Duncan Banks in Dunfermline on Monday September 28.
"He will appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court."
The family of Mr Banks made an appeal for information following his death, describing him as a "beloved son and a much-loved brother and uncle."
