Thousands of people gathered in Edinburghs St Giles Cathedral and Glasgow's George Square to pay their respects to fallen soldiers on Remembrance Sunday.The Herald:

The ceremony at Edinburgh's Stone of Remembrance on the Royal Mile a wreath was laid by First minister Nicola Sturgeon.

In the Autumn drizzle servicemen and woman and thousands of watching spectators paid their respects.

Meanwhile in Glasgows George Square Members of the public stood side by side with serving soldiers, veterans, cadets, police and firemen on parade.

They were also accompianed by Hundreds of members of Motorcycle Clubs from across Scotland who served in the Forces.
